Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact and enquiry forms: When you submit a sales enquiry or demo request via our website forms (powered by Formspree), we collect the name, email address, company name, role, and message you provide.
- Documents you upload: When you use the Contract Review Tool, you may upload contract documents (PDF, DOCX, DOC, or TXT, up to 16 MB). These files are transmitted to our AI processing pipeline solely to generate your analysis report.
- Screenplay files: When you use AURA Enterprise, you may upload screenplay files in .txt or Fountain format. These files are processed to generate batch analysis output.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Standard web-server logs may capture your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This information is used for security, diagnostics, and service improvement.
- Cookies: We use minimal functional cookies to maintain session state. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See the Cookies section below.
How we use your information
- To respond to sales enquiries and demo requests submitted through our contact forms.
- To process uploaded documents and deliver the analysis output you requested.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the SceneIQ platform.
- To detect and prevent security incidents, fraud, or abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, sell it to third parties, or use uploaded documents to train machine-learning models.
Data sharing
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We use Formspree to receive and route enquiry-form submissions, and Anthropic's Claude API to power contract analysis. These providers process data on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations. They do not receive permission to use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: If Scene Reader Studio is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via the email address on file or by posting a notice on this page.
Data retention
We retain form-submission data for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain reasonable business records, and no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required by law.
Uploaded documents submitted through the Contract Review Tool and AURA Enterprise are retained only for the duration required to generate and deliver your analysis. We do not retain uploaded documents after your session is complete unless you explicitly save them within the platform.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
